Meal delivery service Uber Eats unveiled the design for its delivery drone. Uber Eats hopes to use the drones for meal deliveries by next summer.

“The total flight range is 18 miles, with a round-trip delivery range of 12 miles.”
The drones are intended to be used in coordination with Uber Eats drivers, potentially using the drone to pick up food from the restaurant and having the driver deliver it to the customer.
