INRIX 2018 Global Traffic Scorecard

INRIX created a global traffic scorecard that analyzes congestion and mobility trends in 200 cities, across 38 countries. They created a cross-national ranking and analysis that provides insights for drivers and policymakers to help them make decisions based on big data.

Key findings

"In 2018, Bogota drivers lost 272 hours due to congestion - more than any other city in the world."

"At 5.9 MPH, Dublin had the slowest downtown peak speeds in the world. Humans walk at about 3.1 MPH."

"Boston residents experienced the greatest costs from congestion at $2,291 a year."
