Shaping the future of cities requires a keen understanding of the cycles of change and the barriers and opportunities that are ever present. Principles of change management are often applied to organizations but are equally applicable to the evolution of cities and provide some key insights into why some solutions stick while others blow up or quickly fade. In this session participants will hear from local jurisdiction leaders about how they are approaching the governance challenges required to successfully harness forces of change in service to long term policy outcomes.
