Alessandra is currently the Design Director at Project for Public Spaces, a planning and design nonprofit that helps people strengthen their communities through public space. Alessandra’s expertise is placemaking, and she is passionate about designing inclusive and welcoming spaces, working with communities. Her knowledge, skills, and design strategies equip people to fuel lasting changes in their public spaces. Work includes landscape and site design; working with communities to establishing a program and achieving designs that provide a high impact with a low budget. She is currently teaching environmental practices at the New York Institute of Technology.
