Ben is currently working at the Seattle Department of Transportation at the intersection of building-based transportation demand management, mode shift and behavior change, and carbon emissions reduction. He is developing a tool that evaluates SDOT strategies and programs by their potential to reduce vehicle miles traveled (VMT) and associated greenhouse gas impact. Ben previously worked at Sam Schwartz Consulting, advising cities nationwide on optimizing structure and processes to achieve transportation goals.
