North Bayshore in Mountain View, California – Creating a New Mixed Use, Multi-Modal Neighborhood

Mountain View’s North Bayshore district is a suburban business park and home to several of Silicon Valley’s most prominent technology companies, including Google, Intuit and Microsoft. The City has partnered with major employers on an ambitious vision to transform North Bayshore into a vibrant mixed-use neighborhood with 10,000 new homes, open space, and cultural amenities. Realizing this vision will require innovative transportation solutions to overcome limited roadway capacity and meet the city’s 45% drive-alone target. This presentation will focus on the complementary land-use and transportation strategies that will enable this long-term vision for North Bayshore.
