The pandemic has expedited growth in e-commerce, as delivery services have been leveraged to deliver needed resources amidst public health restrictions. How e-commerce and goods delivery will progress as the world recovers from the pandemic remains to be seen, but the impacts will undoubtedly be wide-ranging. This session will explore the cross-sectional impacts that will need to be considered, including how land uses might evolve, what transportation impacts we might see, the impact on environment from emissions and packaging waste, and what this all means for equity.
