Cities, transit agencies, and regional planning agencies can influence behavior change through transportation demand management (TDM). However, the lack of reliable data hinders the ability to accurately measure TDM strategy performance, nimbly iterate on program design, and make informed investments. New data standards and open source tools commonly used in micromobility programs can vastly increase the sophistication of mobility planning and operations. TDM professionals can now leverage data standards to better craft effective TDM policies and programs. During this workshop, we will discuss how data standards are being used today and explore new use cases within TDM programming.
