Statistica published a chart ranking the reasons shoppers chose to make purchases online.

Key findings

"The displayed data on drivers of online purchases shows results of the Statista Global Consumer Survey conducted in the United States in 2019."

"Some 51 percent of respondents answered the question ''Which of these do you consider good reasons to buy an item online?'' with ''available round the clock''."

The reasons the survey listed include direct delivery to my home, cheaper prices, more convenient way of shopping, available around the clock, greater product range, more possibilities to compare, more product information, undisturbed shopping process, and I prefer online shopping in general.
