Which Cities Have Abolished Parking Minimums?

Various cities across England and Germany have completely abolished parking minimums.

Key findings

London dropped its parking minimum requirements and traded for parking maximums in 2004.

Berlin has had no parking requirements since 1990, and they do not have parking maximums.

While Paris has parking minimums in place, due to the nature of the regulations, they do not apply to most of the inner city. Japan also has a relatively small minimum requirement compared to other cities.
