The Consumer Electrics Show has previously been a showcase of TVs, smartphones, and other tech toys. These days, there is an increasing amount of companies selling "Smart Cities."

Sidewalk Labs has plans to develop a 12-acre parcel on the Toronto waterfront.

The idea is to reimagine the sustainable neighborhood from five aspects of life.
